As you can see from our portfolio, we’ve worked with some of the UK’s most prestigious companies, including BP, Jaguar, Currys, Halfords, BT and Hewlett Packard.
We’re often asked why we are hired by large companies with their own IT departments. the answer is that company IT departments are usually engaged in managing internal systems or projects, so it’s good business for them to bring in a specialist for a particular project. We are very good at working with in-house IT teams and it’s often the in-house team that will specify the requirement. We also work with small businesses or individuals too of course, and we have the advantage of big business experience to bring to the table.
At the helm of Richardson Digital, is über-geek, Mac fan and PHP programmer, Ian Richardson, who’s bio describes him as “a specialist in information management solutions and their application to business processes, with an emphasis on solving business problems and human-computer interaction issues (usability)”.
That’s just a long-winded way of saying that he knows how to make web stuff look great! Ian is usually the guy who goes into a company to work with senior managers on the specification for a project. He’ll look at the existing business processes (and often re-engineer them) to produce a new digital workflow.
We also have a talented team of programmers, designers and database specialists, who can tackle anything that our clients require.
We assemble a project team for each project as required. We’re capable of working either remotely, or on-site anywhere in the World. As you might imagine, we’ve built ourselves a pretty impressive set of project management tools, and we’re big fans of VOIP (Internet telephony) so our land-lines work as normal anywhere on the planet.
